SOLUTIONS

Attention Intelligence Across Industries.

Six Markets. One Intelligence Layer.

AI is moving fast into physical systems — vehicles, robots, XR headsets, clinical devices. But almost all of these systems share the same blind spot: they cannot tell what state the human operating them is in.

Is the driver still alert? Is the surgeon fatigued? Is the XR user cognitively overwhelmed? Is the robot operator paying attention?

Attentix solves this across every environment where human attention directly affects performance, safety, or outcome. The same platform. The same structured intelligence outputs. Six high-value markets.

Why Now — The Market Timing

Three forces are converging that make human-state intelligence a requirement, not a nice-to-have:

1. AI is entering physical environments at scale. Autonomous vehicles, collaborative robots, XR headsets, and smart medical devices are all shipping in volume. Every one of them needs to understand the human in the loop.

2. Regulation is mandating it. The EU’s General Safety Regulation makes Driver Monitoring Systems mandatory across new vehicles in Europe. The EU AI Act classifies certain human-state monitoring as high-risk AI — requiring validated, explainable outputs. Healthcare AI regulations are tightening globally. Compliance is becoming a purchase driver, not just a feature.

3. The hardware cost curve has crossed the threshold. Eye-tracking sensors that cost hundreds of dollars three years ago now cost single digits at scale. The Attentix Attention Chip pushes this further — purpose-built silicon for a fraction of the cost of general-purpose alternatives. Mass-market deployment is now economically viable for the first time.

Our Initial Focus

Attentix is a platform play, but we are not trying to win six markets simultaneously. Our initial commercial focus is Automotive DMS and XR / Spatial Computing — two markets with the clearest near-term purchase triggers, the largest validated budgets, and the most direct regulatory or platform mandates driving adoption.

The other four verticals — Robotics, Healthcare, HCI, and Media — are active areas of platform development and partner exploration, with commercial timelines following our core stack maturity.

Solution 01 — Automotive

Making Driver Monitoring Systems That Actually Work.

The Problem : Driver distraction and fatigue cause over 1.35 million road deaths per year globally. Existing Driver Monitoring Systems rely on basic camera feeds with cloud-dependent processing — too slow for real-time intervention, too power-hungry for embedded automotive deployment, and too privacy-risky for regulatory comfort.

Most DMS solutions on the market today detect distraction after the fact. They alert after a lane departure. Attentix detects the cognitive drift before the dangerous behavior occurs.

The Market Trigger : The EU General Safety Regulation mandates DMS in all new passenger vehicles from 2024 onwards. NHTSA in the US is following. Automotive OEMs are actively sourcing validated, embedded-capable DMS solutions now — not in three years.

What Attentix Delivers : The Attentix platform provides continuous, real-time structured outputs specifically designed for automotive DMS integration:

  • Attention recovery signal — return-to-focus detection
  • Fatigue onset detection — early warning before dangerous impairment
  • Distraction classification — gaze-away, cognitive load, phone interaction
  • Drowsiness scoring — continuous severity level, not binary alert
  • Readiness state — active, reduced, critical

All outputs are delivered on-device, in under 50ms, with no raw video transmission — meeting both latency requirements for safety-critical systems and privacy requirements for biometric data regulations.

Why Attentix vs. Existing DMS Solutions

Deployment Path

  • Aftermarket DMS via edge hardware module
  • Fleet operator deployment via API

Target Partners : Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, ADAS software teams, fleet management platforms

Solution 02 — XR / Spatial Computing

The Attention Layer for the Next Computing Platform.

The Problem : XR is the next major computing platform — Android XR, Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, and Snapdragon XR are shipping now or in active development. But current XR systems are attention-blind. They render everything at equal resolution, respond only to explicit gestures and voice, and have no understanding of whether the user is focused, fatigued, or cognitively overloaded.

This creates two problems: wasted compute (rendering what the user is not looking at) and poor experience (interfaces that do not adapt to the user’s actual state).

The Market Trigger : Foveated rendering — reducing render quality outside the user’s gaze focus — can reduce GPU load by 30–50%. As XR headsets push for longer battery life and lighter form factors, gaze-aware rendering is not optional. It is a core system requirement. Every major XR platform is building for this.

What Attentix Delivers

  • Foveated rendering signal — real-time gaze position for render quality optimization
  • Gaze-based interaction — intent-aware UI without physical input
  • Cognitive load indicator — detect when the user is overwhelmed, adapt interface complexity
  • Attention-adaptive content — adjust pacing, density, and modality based on focus state
  • Fatigue and eye strain detection — continuous monitoring for comfort and safety

Why Attentix vs. Built-In Eye Tracking : Major XR platforms include basic eye tracking, but they provide raw gaze coordinates — not interpreted human-state intelligence. Attentix takes those coordinates (or chip-captured signals) and adds the intelligence layer: what does this gaze pattern mean? Is the user focused? Distracted? About to disengage?

That layer does not exist in the platform. It is what Attentix provides.

Target Partners : XR hardware manufacturers, spatial computing software developers, enterprise XR application teams, Snapdragon XR and Android XR ecosystem partners

Solution 03 — Robotics

Robots That Understand the Human in the Loop.

The Problem : Collaborative robots — cobots — are proliferating in manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. They are increasingly fast, powerful, and autonomous. But they are operating in close proximity to humans, and they have almost no ability to understand human state. They know where the human is. They do not know if the human is paying attention.

An operator who is distracted or fatigued near a high-speed cobot is a serious safety risk. Current safety systems rely on physical barriers and proximity sensors — not cognitive state awareness.

What Attentix Delivers

  • Operator attention monitoring — is the human engaged with the system?
  • Readiness signal — is the operator prepared to receive a handoff or take control?
  • Distraction alert — early warning when operator attention has drifted
  • Fatigue risk — continuous monitoring for cognitive impairment in operator
  • Intent prediction — anticipate operator action before it occurs

These outputs integrate directly into robot safety logic, workflow orchestration systems, and human-machine interface layers.

Target Partners : Cobot manufacturers, industrial automation integrators, warehouse robotics platforms, surgical robotics teams

Solution 04 — Healthcare

Objective Cognitive Monitoring at Clinical Scale.

The Problem : Cognitive assessment in clinical settings is largely subjective, episodic, and expensive. Standardized tests are administered periodically and rely on patient self-report or clinician observation. Continuous, passive, objective monitoring of cognitive state — especially attention, fatigue, and early cognitive decline indicators — is almost impossible outside a controlled lab environment.

Eye-tracking has long been a validated clinical research tool for cognitive assessment. The barrier has been cost, complexity, and the inability to deploy it continuously outside the lab.

What Attentix Delivers

  • Continuous passive attention monitoring — no active patient participation required
  • Cognitive fatigue indicators — early signal of mental load and depletion
  • Pupil response analysis — validated clinical marker for cognitive engagement
  • Longitudinal behavioral analytics — track changes over time, not just point-in-time
  • Alertness and readiness scoring — relevant for clinical staff monitoring as well as patients

Regulatory Note : Attentix outputs are structured behavioral indicators, not diagnostic conclusions. They are designed to support clinical workflows and research applications, with appropriate positioning relative to medical device regulatory frameworks.

Target Partners : Digital health platforms, clinical research organizations, cognitive assessment tool developers, remote patient monitoring companies, neurotech startups

Solution 05 Human–Computer Interaction

Interfaces That Respond to People, Not Just Commands.

The Problem : Every digital interface today responds to what you do — click, tap, type, speak. None of them respond to how you are — whether you are focused, hesitating, overwhelmed, or disengaged. This gap between explicit input and actual user state creates friction, inefficiency, and poor experiences at scale.

What Attentix Delivers

  • Attention-aware UI adaptation — reduce interface complexity when cognitive load is high
  • Focus-based input control — trigger actions based on gaze intent, not just physical input
  • Hesitation and uncertainty detection — identify when users are stuck before they ask for help
  • Engagement scoring — real-time measure of user investment in a task or content
  • Adaptive workflow pacing — slow down or simplify based on user state

Target Partners : Enterprise SaaS platforms, productivity software developers, adaptive learning platforms, accessibility technology companies

Solution 06—Media & Content Analytics

Measuring Attention, Not Just Exposure.

The Problem : The entire digital advertising and content industry is built on proxies — impressions, clicks, view-through rates, dwell time. None of these measure what actually matters: did the person pay attention? Was the content cognitively engaging? Did it register?

A video that plays to completion while the viewer looks at their phone is counted as a full view. A well-crafted ad that earns genuine attention for three seconds is counted as a partial view. The metrics are broken.

What Attentix Delivers

  • Real attention scoring — continuous measure of genuine visual engagement, not just exposure
  • Cognitive engagement depth — how deeply is the viewer processing the content?
  • Attention curve analytics — second-by-second attention mapping across content
  • Drop-off and re-engagement signals — when did attention leave and return?
  • Cross-content benchmarking — compare attention quality across campaigns, formats, creators

Target Partners : AdTech platforms, content analytics companies, media agencies, streaming platforms, UX research firms

The Common Architecture Across All Six Solutions

Regardless of the industry, every Attentix solution is built on the same stack and delivers the same core advantages:

Structured outputs, not raw data pipelines : Every solution receives labeled, machine-readable human-state intelligence — not raw video or unprocessed sensor feeds. Your system does not need to build the perception layer. It just needs to act on the output.

Real-time, not batch : All outputs are delivered continuously in real time. Attention intelligence is only actionable if it arrives fast enough to act on — in milliseconds, not minutes.

Edge-first, cloud-optional : The Attentix platform runs on-device for core inference. Cloud integration is available for analytics, aggregation, and fleet-scale dashboards — but the core intelligence does not require a network connection.

Privacy by architecture : No raw video, no facial imagery, no biometric data transmitted. Structured numerical outputs only. This is not a policy — it is enforced by the hardware and processing architecture.

One integration, multiple deployments : The same API and SDK structure works across all six verticals. If you build on Attentix for one application, you can extend to another without rebuilding the integration layer.
